View Full Version : Nihat to Newcastle?
It seems Souness is stocking up on his Turkeys this season (sorry).
If memory serves correct he was top goalscorer in La Liga for a few seasons on the bounce a couple of years ago.

Along with some French defender from Lens on a free, defender can't be worse than what weve already got surely, so Im pleased about that.
Not seen much of that Nihat, but he has been high in the la liga charts a few times so has an eye for goal, but not many player make the switch from la liga to the prem with great ease look at Morientes. Emre bein around will help him settle though, lets hope we don;t pay silly money though.
I read somewhere the other day that Woodgate could be coming back on loan, which would be nice. £12million and you can have him back on loan, not bad at all.
Also read that a part exchange bid of money plus Bowyer was getting prepared for Danny Murphy, would love this to happen sadly I reckon its a rumour with no substance
Yoann Lachor was a good buy on Championship Manager a few years ago.

Knew I recognised his name
If this works out maybe we should sign Kim Kallstrom and Michael Duff :P

That Nihat was class a couple of seasons ago. He played in the same Sociedad team as Alonso. I read he was going for 2m, he'd be a snip at that price.

Nihat has more or less signed for Spartak Moscow now.

Ive not seen him for a while, but he could be a decent potential temp replacement for Shearer

I read that Martin O Neill will soon be back in football and would be interested in the Newcastle job.
Guus Hiddink was also mention but he's rubbished claims saying hes concentrating on Australia
Also if Charlton stop asking for money Lee Bowyer and Danny Murphy could be changing clubs, both players want the move apparantly, but Charlton are askin for 2.5mil plus Bowyer for Murphy, but we aren't prepared to give any cash as they are the same age
